Where is the following road sign placed?

- In the intersection.
- After the intersection.
- At a reasonable distance from the intersection.· Correct answer
- No importance as to where the sign is placed

Sign 117 is a warning sign for a T-junction. Like all warning signs, it is placed at a reasonable distance from the intersection - not inside the intersection and not after it. The purpose is to give the driver time to prepare for the intersection ahead. Warning signs are always placed before the hazard, at a distance that allows the driver to react.
Warning signs = before the hazard, at a reasonable distance
Thinking that warning signs are placed inside the intersection itself
