Can lawful roadway marking be considered as a road sign?
- Only if it is accompanied by another sign.
- Only within the limits of an urban road.
- Only if it is colored white.
- Always.· Correct answer
By law, any marking on the road surface made in accordance with the regulations is considered a traffic sign for all purposes. The color of the marking, its location (urban or otherwise), and the presence of additional signs nearby make no difference. Road markings are just as binding as upright (vertical) traffic signs.
Road markings = traffic signs. Always and everywhere
